It’s been a rough week for democracy, but even more pressing: women’s rights and safety. Not even 24 hours after the American election results were revealed, male trolls online, on campuses, and even on schoolyards, were mocking women, stating they owned our body choices and us in general, which is not only disgusting but laughable. So this is the time to get organized, and continue our way forward, armed with information, education, safety measures, and trusted community. Young children in particular need to be prepped for what is to come and what they may hear.
